CATECHISM

Faith Formation classes are available for first through twelfth graders.

Baptismal certificates are required of all students before the first class.

Sacramental Preparation prepares children, 2nd grade or older, for First Reconciliation and First Communion. There is a two year formation process to prepare candidates for First Communion.

We will teach the Catechism of the Catholic Church to children and in doing so, we will prepare them for their sacraments, introduce them to our faith, and reveal the love God has for each of them. It is very important that they live and learn their faith by attending Mass and their faith formation classes.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS

We offer an opportunity to come together in
a small group to learn more about our faith.  Sessions focus on the teachings and experience of Church and prepare individuals to celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist during the Easter season.

If you are older than 7 and want to learn
about our faith and become a Catholic, you are welcome to join this group in the Religious Education building (711 New York Ave.)

Registrations are currently underway at the Ministries office. For questions or more information please email iccreligioused7@gmail.com.

Parents are the first and most important educators of their own children, and they also possess a fundamental competence in this area:  They are educators because they are parents.
